Key Account Manager

Konner & Sohnen® is a German manufacturer of generators, portable power stations, garden equipment, and auto components, present in over 20 countries. We are a high-growth company, twice recognized in the Forbes Diamonds rating (2023, 2025).

We are seeking a Key Account Manager to develop and support key corporate clients. Our clients include construction companies, utilities, manufacturing facilities, agricultural holdings, retail, logistics, shopping centers, medical institutions, and data centers.

Key Responsibilities:

Management and development of key accounts: building long-term partnerships and regular communication with Decision Makers (engineers, power engineers, procurement specialists, top management).
Expanding cooperation with existing clients: identifying new needs, developing sales through upsell and cross-sell.
Comprehensive client support: from technical consultation and solution selection to concluding contracts and monitoring the fulfillment of obligations.
Participation in \"turnkey\" projects: coordination of processes at all stages of implementation.
Client portfolio management: performance analysis and strategic planning for account development.
Operational discipline: CRM management, reporting, and meeting targets.
Cross-functional interaction: effective cooperation with technical support, logistics, and the finance department.
Responsibility for financial results: ensuring growth in turnover, margin, and achieving KPIs.

Candidate Expectations:

Experience: 2+ years in B2B sales or as a Key Account Manager, preferably with technical or engineering products.
Technical expertise: understanding the company's product portfolio and the ability to quickly master the technical features of the products.
Negotiation skills: successful experience in finding, developing, and conducting negotiations with Decision Makers.
Tender experience: participation in tenders and preparation of commercial proposals will be a significant advantage.
Education: Higher education (technical background is a plus).
Tools: Proficient user of CRM systems, Excel, and standard office programs.
Personal competencies: developed communication skills, result-oriented, independence in decision-making, analytical thinking, stress resistance, and a proactive stance.

Управління портфелем клієнтів: аналіз ефективності, стратегічне планування розвитку акаунтів.
Операційна дисципліна: ведення CRM, підготовка звітності, виконання планових показників.
Крос-функціональна взаємодія: ефективна співпраця з технічною підтримкою, логістикою та фінансовим відділом.
Відповідальність за фінансовий результат: забезпечення зростання обороту, маржинальності та досягнення KPI.

Очікування від кандидата:

Досвід роботи від 2 років у B2B-продажах або на позиції Key Account Manager, бажано у технічних або інженерних продуктах.
Технічна експертиза: розуміння товарного портфеля компанії, здатність швидко зануритися в специфіку і вивчити технічні особливості продукції.
Навички переговорів: успішний досвід пошуку, розвитку та ведення переговорів із особами, що приймають рішення (ЛПР).
Тендерний досвід: участь у тендерах та підготовка комерційних пропозицій буде суттєвою перевагою.
Освіта: вища освіта (технічна — як додатковий плюс).
Інструменти: впевнений користувач CRM-систем, Excel та стандартних офісних програм.
Особисті компетенції: розвинені комунікаційні навички, орієнтація на результат, самостійність у прийнятті рішень, аналітичне мислення, стресостійкість та проактивна позиція.
