Dimax International, the global manufacturer behind the renowned Könner & Söhnen® brand, is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Mechanic to join our growing service operations. We power lives in over 20 countries with our generators and technical equipment.
What You’ll Be Doing:
  • Diagnostics & Repair: Perform comprehensive diagnostics, maintenance, and repair of gasoline, diesel, inverter generators (2-250 kW), power stations and garden tools.
  • Technical Maintenance: Service a wide range of equipment, including combustion engines, garden tools, and battery-powered instruments.
  • Quality Control: Ensure every repair meets high-quality standards and safety protocols.
  • Occasional Field Service: Conduct scheduled technical maintenance and repairs at customer sites when required.
  • Documentation: Accurately log repair data and spare parts usage in the ERP system.

Technical Qualifications:
  • Experience: Proven practical experience in repairing internal combustion engines (gasoline/diesel) or electrical power equipment. Additional training will be provided.
  • Education: Technical degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering is preferred.
  • Technical Skills: Ability to read installation schemes and understand the principles of electronics and mechanics.
  • Tools: Proficient in using specialized diagnostic tools and basic computer skills (Google Workspace/ERP).
  • Languages: B1 proficiency in German & English required. Ukrainian or Polish is a significant advantage.

  • Attention to Detail: High level of technical mindfulness and responsibility in handling complex machinery.
  • Proactive Attitude: A focus on results and the ability to work effectively within a dynamic startup environment.
  • Team Player: Ability to follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and report transparently to the Service Manager.

What We Offer:
  • Salary: 3,500–4,000 EUR, negotiable based on your specific expertise and technical knowledge.
  • Employment: Full-time, official employment with comprehensive social benefits, including paid leave and sick leave.
  • Working Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM.
  • Location: On-site work at our Service Center located at Flinger Broich 203, 40547 Düsseldorf.
